Your role
We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Supplier Transfer Engineer with experience from electrical design to work on an exciting project towards one of our Nordic clients. The position can be done remotely from any city. We are also open for sub-contractor applications.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Lead qualification planning, verification testing, and First Article Inspections for supplier transfers
- Manage and execute Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Prepare and maintain design documentation (drawings, specifications, BOMs).
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical questions.
- Drive design changes and supplier updates while aligning scope with Modality engineers.
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, and background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mix is ideal).
- Finnish & English language skills
- Strong understanding of Medical Device QMS with practical, hands‑on experience.
- Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end design change projects.
- Experience with requirements, verification, and transfer processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and BOMs.

Role Description
We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join our team full-time in Tampere or Helsinki.
In this role, you will design and implement computer vision systems that enable physical AI to perceive and understand the world. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle — from data acquisition and model design to real-time deployment on embedded and edge devices. Collaborating closely with our AI researchers, robotics, and hardware teams, you’ll help bridge the gap between perception algorithms and physical interaction.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Designing, training, and optimizing computer vision and perception models for real-time and embedded use cases.
- Developing image and video processing pipelines, including data collection, labeling, and augmentation.
- Implementing and evaluating algorithms for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and 3D understanding.
- Integrating CV models into embedded or cloud systems for real-world deployment.
- Experimenting with state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, NeRFs) and adapting them for physical AI.
- Collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure efficient inference and robust performance in challenging environments.
- Conducting rapid prototyping, benchmarking, and reporting results to guide technical decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in computer vision and deep learning (e.g., CNNs, vision transformers, 3D perception).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV, ONNX, or similar libraries for model deployment and optimization.
- Familiarity with real-time inference on GPUs, edge, or embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT).
- Understanding of camera systems, image calibration, and sensor fusion.
- Experience with data pipelines, CI/CD, and Linux-based development.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or multimodal perception is a strong plus.
- Background in 3D vision, SLAM, or spatial AI is considered an advantage.
- Publications in top computer vision or robotics venues are considered an advantage.

In this role, you will help our customers bring meaningful medical devices to market by ensuring their products are safe, effective, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations. You will support and guide customers through the entire development lifecycle, producing and reviewing documentation, requirement definitions, and risk management materials. Your main responsibilities:
- Participate in various projects to ensure our customers' medical device and IVD device compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Support design and development of medical devices and IVD throughout the product lifecycle especially on SW development activities and documentation
- Plan, execute and report risk management activities
- Support documentation and risk assessment for medical devices, including cybersecurity and AI/ML
- Define product requirements together with the customer, establish design controls and traceability, ensure documented evidence for verification and regulatory requirements such as GSPR (general safety and performance requirements).
- Implement quality management systems and processes for customers and support continuous improvement by conducting internal audits
- Create regulatory roadmaps and support product qualification and classification
What we expect from you
- A relevant university degree, for example in biomedical engineering, medical technology or another technical or lifescience field
- Over 5 years of experience in the medical device or IVD industry or other regulated fields, including more than 3 years in QARA roles
- Solid knowledge of medical device development and relevant standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) as well as familiarity with MDR, IVDR, and FDA requirements
- Experience in medical device or software driven device (MDSW) development, documentation practices, and design control, verification and validation processes
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented approach, and an independent, systematic working style
- Excellent English skills, basic proficiency in Finnish, and strong technical writing abilities
