What you will do
As an expert in the field of Machine Learning Engineering you will be responsible for the growth of our Data team, both professionally as well as in size. You will be in charge of shaping and executing the future of your expertise within our organization. You will work on client projects as well as on building our own AI solutions, together with our team of Data Scientists, Data Engineering team, and other business units globally.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading an internal team towards the development of AI products;
• Working in a multidisciplinary team on client projects as an expert on your subject;
• Making architectural and design decisions for cloud environments;
• Building production level ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering;
• Guiding Data Scientists to scale up their models into production (parallelizing, optimizing, tuning, testing, and wrapping);
• Giving trainings, leading internal meetings and organizing external events;
• Participating in team meetings and workshops with clients;
• Writing blog articles, presenting at conferences and sending out press releases on the subject that you lead.

• MSc level education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems or related field of study.
• 2-4 years of experience in building production-quality ML/Deep Learning pipelines and models.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals and strong knowledge in a specific domain (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP).
• Expert coding skills in Python and at least one of these languages: Scala, C++, Java.
• Hands-on experience with database management languages (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience in cloud-based infrastructures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Unix-based command line and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.
• Experience with coaching/mentoring other engineers.
• Prior experience in Management Consulting is a strong plus.

• Fluency in spoken and written English, French and Dutch is required.

Do you want to help build the digital backbone of Belgium’s railway infrastructure? At our organization, you’ll contribute to the modernization of the EBP system for Infrabel, a mission-critical platform that ensures safe and efficient train traffic across 31 zones, 24/7.

We’re looking for a Rust Developer who can help elevate the reliability, safety, and performance of this essential system.

Your task:

• Analyze, design, document, and implement features as outlined in the roadmap.
• Lead or support the design and implementation of core system modules.
• Create technical documentation for software modules and systems.
• Support the transition planning from C to Rust, including mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure high precision and reliability in code, given the operational impact on railway traffic.
• Participate in engineering decisions regarding methodologies, tools, and team organization.
• Contribute to safety and security-related activities such as Threat and Risk Analysis (TRA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Your skills:

Essential:

• A strong learning mindset and experience in Rust.

As a Design Engineer within manufacturing support, you will play a key role in translating production and logistics needs into effective engineering solutions. You will be involved from the early planning phase through design, supplier coordination, and implementation on the shop floor. Acting as a central point between engineering, production, and external partners, you help ensure that new solutions are delivered efficiently, meet operational requirements, and integrate smoothly into existing processes.

You will collaborate daily with production teams, fellow engineers, and suppliers, while also supporting prototype validation and implementation activities. Your Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate requests for new manufacturing and logistics solutions from concept to implementation.
