Pipeline and Spool Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking Subsea Pipeline & Spool Design Engineers to join our Pipeline Design Discipline. The primary function will be to provide subsea pipeline & spool design support to projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide pipeline technology input to Conceptual and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies.
• Perform pipeline & spool design & analysis activities in all phases of developments from tender level engineering to detailed design.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and projects such as welding, material, structural, hydrodynamic or geotechnical disciplines.
• Follow-up design and analysis scopes for internal project teams, subcontractors, and fabricators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine, Offshore, Naval Architecture).
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
• Experience in engineering of subsea pipeline systems.
• Knowledge and experience using software such as Abaqus, Ansys, OrcaFlex, Matlab, Mathcad.
• Programming and scripting skills (Python) is an advantage.
• Understanding of applicable design codes, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
